Australian film critics have been repeatedly lambasted by filmmakers in the media, but is this broadly representative of the dialogue between film critics and filmmakers?

This is the question posed by this short essay film.

Through interviews with Australian filmmakers and film critics intercut with the filmmakers own thoughts and experiences, this work uncovers a deeper complexity of this essential cultural relationship.
